Blueteq began as a company to fill niches in NHS IT that were not catered for by statutory provision nor by the Connecting for Health Programme.
With the development of primary care services that were no longer solely placed inside the GP surgery, it became necessary to find a solution enabling doctors and other professionals to share patient information. This started with "GPs with Special Interests" seeing patients from other practices. This has now extended into Practice Based Commissioning and other models of care.
Around the UK, enterprises are emerging that want to handle patient services in different ways. We have found that no one model suits all such enterprises and we pride ourselves on providing bespoke solutions.
A specialised and complex system involving clinical triage, appointment systems, patient tracking, health care coding, reporting and automated correspondence has been developed for one client. Many others clients, however, have less complex requirements and we are more than happy to accommodate.
Some of our NHS work is not directly clinical. We have recently completed a Surrey wide database for the tracking and reporting of resource allocations for mental health provision.
In addition, we provide commercial products for the private sector and have recently set up our own web hosting division to complement our web design and marketing services.
Although we have a wide interest and portfolio, we are focussed on customer service and two main areas: secure web access to databases and web/graphic design. |
